Big changes coming to Midtown Raleigh
The City of Raleigh's new Walkable Midtown Initiative calls for a set of projects that will further revitalize the City of Oaks' growing infrastructure needs. The City Council recently adopted the anticipated Midtown-St. Albans Area Plan, which includes two bridges (one greenway and one for vehicles) across the Beltline, a waterfront park along Crabtree Creek, green streets, a "Midtown Ring" with protected green spaces, and updated land use policies that support walkability. Be sure to check out the full plan if you want to explore all the exciting updates coming to Midtown Raleigh!
