Sun Belt Cities Continue to Boom
Johnston County was the fastest-growing county in North Carolina between 2010 and 2020, and it continues to welcome new residents to the area. A new Zillow report named two North Carolina cities among the hottest in the housing market in 2022. Raleigh came in at #3 and Charlotte at #5 when compared to the 50 largest metros in the country.
The area continues to see new housing communities developing, and home values are predicted to continue rising by as much as 21% through November.

Raleigh 4th of July Fireworks
Celebrate Independence Day with a bang at the Raleigh 4th of July Fireworks! This family-friendly event at Dorothea Dix Park features a kids' zone, a DJ stage, a variety of food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks display. Free event parking and shuttles from downtown are available.

Nature Play Day
Hosted at Prairie Ridge Ecostation, this event invites children 7 and younger to explore through fort-building, costumes, giant blocks, bubbles, and more. A play facilitator will be onsite to enhance the fun. This is a free, drop-in event, perfect for families ready to enjoy the outdoors.

GalaxyCon Raleigh
